Katie Cresswell-Maynard is the Executive Director of EWB International and works with EWB organizations worldwide to support their success. She has been involved with EWB for over 20 years as a member, volunteer, and staff leader, including serving as CEO of EWB UK, where she led the implementation of the Engineering for People Design Challenge, now delivered to more than 100,000 students. At EWB International, Katie is part of a new team strengthening collaboration and alignment across the global EWB network. She previously worked at Arup in the cities and climate change team and continues to champion socially and environmentally responsible engineering.

The Hon. Robert Oliphant, P.C., M.P. is the five-time elected Member of Parliament for Don Valley West, most recently re-elected in April 2025. He has served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2019 and sits on the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development. He is active in several parliamentary associations, including Canada–Africa, the Canadian NATO Parliamentary Association, and the Canada–U.S. Inter-Parliamentary Group, and is President of the Canadian Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. Mr. Oliphant holds degrees in commerce, divinity, and theology, and has worked in industry and ministry across Canada.

Jennifer Quaglietta is the CEO & Registrar of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), leading the organization through a historic transformation to become a modern, public-interest regulator. Since joining PEO in 2023, she has advanced regulatory excellence through a people-first leadership approach, strengthening culture, engagement, and learning. She is guiding PEO’s 2023–2025 Strategic Plan, including major digital and licensing reforms. Jennifer brings cross-sector experience spanning healthcare, pharmaceuticals, financial services, and government. A recognized national leader, she is a recipient of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 and a passionate advocate for women in STEM, diversity, equity, and mental health.

David EWBoroto is the Chief Executive Officer of Engineers Without Borders Canada. He previously served as Interim CEO, following five years as Chair of the Board of Directors. David has been an EWBer for more than a decade, including roles as a Chapter President and overseas fellow in Kenya and Uganda. He holds a BASc in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto and an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge. Previously he worked in the private sector as an Infrastructure Advisory Consultant at Mott MacDonald and in the development sector as an Infrastructure Analyst with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS). Born in South Africa to Congolese parents, David describes himself as a third culture kid Canadian with a global outlook. He works at the intersection of infrastructure engineering and global development in pursuit of a world in which every individual has the opportunity to achieve a fulfilling life.
